Make a Pledge

Thank you for your pledge to the Elville Center for the Creative Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.Your pledge will help the Elville Center continue its mission of improving the quality of life of children of all ages by providing them the opportunities to learn music theory and application, to experience cultural events related to the musical and creative arts, and to use music and the promotion of music-related activities to transcend social and economic divisions.

Specifically, on a daily basis the Elville Center works to have donated musical instruments refurbished, purchases new instruments and much-needed supplies such as reeds, mouthpieces, oils, and new sheet music for schools’ music programs, and assists schools in funding trips to cultural events such as The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and The Columbia Orchestra concerts.

As your pledge may be tax-deductible, the Elville Center will furnish a tax donation letter to you recognizing your donation.

We appreciate your support, and thank you for making a musical difference in the life of a child!

Donate an Instrument

Thank you for your musical instrument donation to the Elville Center for the Creative Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.  The Elville Center for the Creative Arts partners with local schools’ music programs that are in need of many different types of instruments for their students, and your donation will be of great assistance to these programs.

The Elville Center accepts all instrument donations – brass and woodwind instruments, string instruments, pianos, guitars, percussion and all instruments in between that are in good condition.  The Elville Center will take any instruments in need of minor repairs to our partner, the Music & Arts Center of Severna Park, to be refurbished before we deliver them to our partner schools’ music programs and their students.

As the value of your musical instrument donation may be tax-deductible, The Elville Center will furnish a tax donation letter to you recognizing your donation. To donate an instrument or for more information, please contact Jeff Stauffer at 443-393-7696 or jeff@elvilleassociates.com.

We appreciate your support, and thank you for making a musical difference in the life of a child!

Do We Accept Pianos/Organs?

The Elville Center accepts most all types of musical instruments for donation; however, the one challenge we have as far as musical instrument donations, are pianos/organs, and cannot accept them at this time. The reasons for this are twofold. One, we simply do not have a place to store pianos here at our office, which is within the law firm of Elville and Associates’ office in Columbia. And thus, two, to accept a piano, we would need a school music program to have an immediate need for the piano before we accept it so we can then plan to move it to the school. We have done this a number of times before over the years; however, with none of our schools music partners currently in need of a piano, at this time we have no choice but to respectfully decline the donation request.

There are a couple of reputable organizations that may be able to assist you. They are: https://www.beethovenfoundation.com/donatepiano — the Beethoven Foundation https://pianosforeducation.org/donate-piano/ — Pianos for Education
